Help With Railmodeler-Pro

I don’t use the program and don’t have a Mac, but I googled “how to change text color in railmodeller pro” and found this forum discussion from 2016, the 4th entry has some point instructions. I don’t know if they’re still current, but maybe they’ll lead you in the right direction.

Stick with it Dan, RMP is a very nice tool.  I did my HO 22’ x 11’ track plan (also a MAC user) and I am very satisfied.

Very frustrating !   So I made a test layout and inserted the number 313, indicating a bascule bridge.  I was able to figure out how to make the numbers show up in black.  All well and good.  

Next I opened up the layout I've been working on and did the same thing.  But when I go to colorize the text, using the very same method as the test layout, the number 313 is replaced by the word TEXT.

Just write your desired text over the word "text".  You then choose font and size.

Jim, that doesn't work.  I've tried doing as you instructed.  I've tried deleting the letters TEXT then inserting 313.  Each time I go to make the numbers black by clicking on the "Fill color" under "Document", the numbers revert to the word TEXT.

Click on the "Shapes" icon at the top of the screen.  Select "T".  That will open a box that you can enter your desired text.

Don,   After you click on the "T" move your pointer anywhere on your layout and click your mouse.

Jim, we have success !!!!!   I was clicking on the fill color icon after I typed the letters and numbers instead of simply clicking on the screen as you just said.
