Helping My Brother-In-Law Design a Layout

Hello all. This is my first post on the layout Forum, although I've been an OGR Forumite for several years. My brother-in-law has been contemplating building a layout in the attic of his garage for a while now, and has toyed with several track plans. He has come up with one that he likes and I think it offers a lot of interest besides just running trains around the loop. I like the reverse loops and the crossings, as well as the yard area. I am attaching it here and invite comments from my fellow Forumites. Any help you guys can offer will be much appreciated.
