We have this 'Lionel Cola' car, and it seems to basic work perfectly. I pushed the button and the guy pops out and the little cans fly right out of the car. But I feel like I'm missing something really obvious, how do I get the cans back in there? There's a little latch on top, that looks like maybe they go in, but they don't really seem to fit?

Oh wait, I figured it out. They go int he little trap door sideways, I saw another one rolling around in there.

I have often not found hidden controls under various engine parts on newer steam engines.
they are well hidden to make the design look better.
Partly it's just paranoia about breaking things. The fit of the bottles into that hole is a little tight. The car is a little bizarre, but it does seem to work well, even after having sat for at least 10 years. I was wondering why we had that weird track with the 5 rails on it, now I know
