Has anyone mounted #260 Bumpers onto Super O Track? The ears of the Bumpers are too wide to fit down between the ties on the track. I thought I would ask before I start chopping up track or bumpers to get them to fit.
Lionel modified the 260 in 1957 to accommodate super O track by removing about 1/8th of the rear mounting posts. file or grind that amount off so it will fit between the ties.

Chuck;
Thanks for the suggestion. I have older bumpers so I will just cut away enough material to fit between the ties.
