Hello. I just got going on my layout today, after 4-5 years with helth problems. First was dialisis for 4 years, then I lost my right leg in january, then in august I had a kidney transplant, then in october I had a 3 way bypass. And I have had problems with the leg they built for me. I go back to chicago a week from tuesday for another new leg.But all in all I have been prety good.Well I got the chance to go out to the garage to day and cleaned it up and got started on my layout. The layout will be in my garage in the back and will go tru the wall into my breezeway. So the total length of this layout will be about 22' x 8' + 4' x 20' in the garage. Well today I built the 4'x20' frame and cut 2 pices of plywood. So today was a great day,I got so much done today.I will post some photos in the near future I need to find were I put the track plans.I have all the track and suplys I need.I just needed that push and I finaly got it,I dont know were it came from but it finaly hit me today. Well thats it today now i need to get some sleep tomorow I have to go for a blood test. Thanks Scot Pensgard

That's great Scot. It sounds like you will have a sizeable layout.
Looking forward to the updates!
Good luck Scot; looking forward to a few pictures. Will this be an around the wall layout?
Good for you. Don't quit the momentum. I started on my layout room last year. Between meetings and work it has taken me a long time to complete. I'm down to framing two windows and painting a wall and I'll be ready to clear the room of all the construction debris and I'll be ready to build the frame work. I purchased a bunch of 1X4s from a supply company.
Great for you Scot! You've been through a lot but your will and determination are commendable. You're not a quitter. Go ahead and enjoy! I hope you do!
Phil
