I just noticed the new modifications giving us lines/blocks between topics. Personally, I like the change. All this on a Sunday, somebody is still working for us on a weekend.

I just noticed it a few minutes ago. It looks better to me too.
Surprised me also. Being computer challenged I re-booted my computer thinking there was something wrong. Oh well......outlines look great to me also.

Also checked the browser, must be contrary here I think it add to a cluttered look.

I'm not crazy about it. But it's tame compared to Yahoo Groups recent change to 'NEO' format which is absolutely horrid!
I like the new format.A change in scenery is good for us once in a while.
If you guys remember...this "new" look is very much like it used to be. This is an attempt to make it easier to read but just like any change, some folks may not like it and/or it will take a while getting use to..... By the way, the OGR crew works 7 days a week. Just finished an hour conversation with someone concerning OGR...

It's pretty ugly and cluttered, IMO.
Just don't box me in!
At first I thought my computer was acting up . . . I'll get used to it - it looks a little more organized and crisp.
I like it too. I think that it looks much cleaner and more tasteful.
Just hopped on
Thought something was wrong on my end
I don't know---not sure how I feel about it
A little cluttered ???

I agree...more of a visual annoyance to me. Is somebody getting paid to make these decisions?
I hope this works out. I was getting tired of getting messages that went past the right side of my screen. I was having to use the left & right arrows to read the messages.
Yuck, what a mess it is now...
Well I like it. Kind of nice and orderly I guess.
Depends on what you like. No big deal either way.
Rod
I like it very much.

Just like Alan said above, it look's like the old format.I like it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE KEEP THIS FORMAT. IT LOOK'S AWESOME
Thanks,
Alex
I'm not sure if Rich and company have any control over this. It may just be a Hoopla thing like so many of the little changes.
I happen to like it, even if it does look a little busy. The two tone gray version was still the best, better than the previous one tone gray and white.
I did run into a topic earlier where a single post had caused the display to go extra wide. Probably a formatting conflict with the new look. That was annoying!
I don't care for it but then again, it isn't difficult to get used too. Thanks OGR....
Rick.
At first I also thought something was wrong until I read this post. It always takes me a little while to adjust to change.
Me no likey.
I never noticed. It's the content here that matters. Format changes are only something the IT folks do to justify their existence.
Pete
I'm used to it now and like it. It was fine without it but it looks nice.
Possibly an IT tech needed some billable hours. They sneak in subtle changes frequently.
Maybe next Sunday they will be able to bill for adding color.
Next month, a whole new format.
Much like the make work folks on the Yahoo home page.
It's just a style thing. Style changes serve to split opinions
My vote is for a spell check feature.
I, too, can "live with it," but anything that puts more stuff on the screen means my old eyes and brain have to work a little harder. Maybe good for the brain and not so good for the eyes. Give me shading and fewer/no lines any day.

Uh oh, another highly controversial "non-train related" topic.
I'm not sure if I like it. If I decide I can't deal with it, I may ask for a full refund of my free membership.
Boxcars!!!!!!
No problem for me. I like to have a divider between posts and between posts and side bars. You may not realize it, but no visible dividing line causes your brain to figure out where the invisible divider is. My brain doesn't need the extra work....
"My vote is for a spell check feature."
Firefox browser has one built-in. Activate it from the Advanced section of the Options menu at the General tab.

Count me as another that at first thought my computer was acting up. It's fine just taking a little getting used to.

When I first started in my professional life, I was given some good advice, "neatness is the key to success". This change is neat, it provides the text in a more organized fashion, and it does not prevent "out of the box thinking".
I LIKE IT, I LIKE IT, I LIKE IT!!!!
FREDSTRAINS
I don't like it with the boxes - too busy.
Alex
It's easy, for me, to get used to the new format WITHIN a single thread with the blocks separating each reply.
I don't like it on the main selection panel for each sub-forum though.

While I have no idea why, the outline does actually make it easier for me to see. I like it.
Ed
I like it. Now all you have to do is get rid of these 4 and 5 line signatures! They get real repudiative after a while!
I feel stupid now thinking at first there was something wrong with my PC. Have enough weird things happen on the computer that I must be a little spooked?
Art
I kept hitting the REFRESH button trying to get it back to the way it was. I'm not digging all the lines....guess it will have to grow on me.
Ugh - I am not a fan. More clutter; makes it a little harder to quickly scan a thread.
