Has anyone noticed that the photos for the 42" K-line 0-27 and 0 curves are incorrect on the Legacy site?
Part #s K-0212 and K- 0312.
The correct photo is on page 37 of the  1979 K-line K-4 Track Layout and Accessory Manual.

They show 3 ties instead of 4 online.
And they show 4 on the 0-54 which may or may not be correct but I have know way to check.
The O-72 is correct with 6 so I assume the O-54 would have 5.
I bought some unidentified K-line track on the Bay. Looked it up and thought I  had gotten a deal on some O-54.
Just plain old O-42 with an extra tie. Short money but I overpaid vs new 0-42 Lionel.
Anyone have a photo of real 54" K-Line in the o-27 profile? I would hate to get fooled again.
Unless they changed the spec in later years to save some money.

Thanks

I have an assortment of secondhand O27-size track:
My Lionel and K-Line O54 curves have three ties per section, 10" long chord along center rail
My K-Line O42 curves have four ties per section, 10.5" long cord along center rail

Next time you buy track by mail you could verify exactly what it is by asking how many pieces make a circle or half-circle, and the straight-line length of one of the rails.

If that is the web site you are referring to, I see they have prominent disclaimers that their track info isn't guaranteed accurate.

K-021242" Curve       $1.19
K-022254" Curve       $1.49

For those two O27 track items, it looks to me that their photos are reversed.
