I am in the planning stages of my layout.  The layout will be in an L shape (basicly two 4x8's in a L) pushed into a corner of my basement on a tiled concrete floor.  I would like to put the layout on rollers so I can pull it away from the walls for access to laying track and later derailments.  Any thoughts?

Here's a photo of the casters I mounted on my layout legs. Originally, I had casters that screwed into mounts pounded into the bottoms of the legs, but the mounts  worked loose. So then I added angle brackets and bolted the casters to the brackets. Might be overkill, but no more problems. The first layout was made up of 4'x8' tables, then later added 2' sections to the others to make a 6'x16' solid table.

Thanks for the reply,  I looked at Rich883 first design and I really liked how he worked the bridge into the right angle of the tables.  I am going to rework my layout to copy some of his track designs.  Thanks .....   I kept going down the thread and  WOW he really grew that layout.  Rich really needs the casters based on his ever growing layout but I think it may be over kill for mine.
