i have finished my hinged lift up section. Basically 4 foot by 2 foot. I put a door stop on the wall so when I lift it up it stops at probably 120 degrees or so. When I lower it, due to it size, it is heavy. I thought I saw posts befor where some people used a screen door closer, to make it close more slowly. The problem I have, when I installed one, since it opens more than 90 degrees, the opener stops it at 90 degrees. My guess I am installing it wrong. Any pictures would be appreciated or links to other posts that show how people have used some sort of device to slow down the section.
