Midge couldn't assist you?
Funny. Talked to some one who transferred me there and no answer. Sent email. How many people does it take to change a light bulb?
From 1994 it's likely to have 1.5V bulbs. If the bulb is connected to the blue and/or green connectors on the PS/1 board, they're 1.5V. If they have an aux lighting module, they're probably 6V bulbs.
All diesel directional lighting on PS-1 was 1.5V and usually a double bulb. I have them in stock, but need to know the length of the wiring so it is an easier install. Though I will say you may have some issues getting bulb out of plastic lens. G
Uh... not all George, we've had this conversation before. Some of the products had lighting boards that took the 1.5V headlight from the PS/1 board and switched 6V bulbs. I did specify if they're direct connect they'd be 1.5V bulbs.
Right you are: E and F types. But the generic diesels like GP, SD etc... where always directional 1.5V. G
Midge is on it! I think my first email did not go through. Assume she is sending correct bulbs. Tricky to get old bulb out?
Thanks in advance.
Since it is bad you can try pulling out but don't be surprised if it breaks. Factory sometime used glue to hold in. Use a small punch to push plastic lens out of shell, use drill bit by hand to cleanout residual glass. G
Thanks. Got bulbs and will try.
