Can I run two trains on a track when one of the trains has lionchief and the other train is run conventionally? if so how since the lionchief train the track would be energized by the wall plug

I dont know if the lionchief transformer is enough power for two trains, but yes, you can run both on the same track.
Its best to lock the conventional loco in forward and just let it run while controlling the lionchief from its remote.
lionchief requires 18 volts to track. This will make most conventional engines go into warp speed and launch off the track. You can run a lionchief and a command engine ( tmcc/dcs) on the same track from the same power supply, but I would not try a conventional engine at a constant 18 volts unless you are trying to model a derailment.
But the opposite is true and will work. I have a CW-80 conventional transformer on my layout. My sons run the lionchief engine while I run my conventional train with full F-N-R functionality via the transformer. When I slow my train down it also slows the lionchief's top speed. When I interrupt the power with the direction button the lionchief hesitates and then keeps going. But they can still use the remote with the crew sounds and change direction as well. I have not measured it but the lionchief needs very little voltage to operate well.
