Normally I like to save the .pdf to my pc so I can peruse it whenever, can't seem to do that with this one.  It tries to open in some gooney pdf viewer the likes of which I've not seen until now, no "save to disc" icon, and it never opens anyway.  This on a windows 7 pc, firefox, everything up do date.  Any suggestions?

You should see a column of icons on the left hand side.  The 3rd one down is 'Download".

Yeah, when I click on the download icon on the windows 7 pc the pdf opens in a screwball viewer in firefox with no option to save to disk.  It also does not dl completely, this with 8gb ram.  I solved the problem by downloading it on one of my old XP computers.

It's the RTR catalog for gosh sakes.  What did you expect?  And if the market is small wouldn't the RTR catalog be getting smaller rather than larger?

Appears to be a GP38 in the online version...but it might be SD38 in the printed version. ??? If it really turns out to be an SD38 this set may be interesting to me. I already have a GP38.

Overall I was impressed by the RTR catalog, a lot of great new sets with much variety. I hope Lionel intends on adding TrainChief to all of its sets, because that seems like a huge selling point, IMO. People like me that have TMCC/Legacy layouts could run these trains side-by-side with the command engines at the same time, instead of conventionally by themselves. I'd go for that!

What wrong with teaching a little "hands on" interaction rather than doing EVERYTHING by a hand held device?

Pretty soon, kids won't be able to go to the bathroom without an app.

So is it known for sure that it will be posted tomorrow, or will we have to wait a couple weeks until the LCCA event?

Did I read Firefox didn't work properly! Some on this forum think that it is heaven sent.

Rusty, my 19 month old grandson had a little trouble with the CW-80. easier to stop than power up for him. He can run the Thomas a lot better with the remote.

So, he'll want Legacy or an app for his communication device. Lionel wants to start them early. I think it's fun too! Legacy on a budget.
