Hi Guys

The latest info that I can gleam from the net is using the above units for flipping my switches is a good thing according to Lionel Legacy.  Back in 02, I think I used a duel push button.  It was a PITA to wire and use but it worked.  Looking ahead toward the next level. I'm keeping my old switch units that are usable, New ones will be new RCS / DZ1000's.  All my switches are RCS/DZ1000's. Got a heck of a lot more switches now  Please give me your pro's and con's. on this setup.  I ain't looking at accessory's now.  Later on for sure.

Life is Good and my best regards,

Tommy

I used asc's , over 5 of them chained together, with my legacy system for a number of years to control tortoise machine switches.  The controllers are very reliable and have never has a problem with them.  I did use the DZ switch machines early in building my layout and found the DZ-2500 and 1000 to be more problematic to get to work.  But they were easier to install than the tortoise machine.
