I picked up a set of Pennsylvania Lionel Legacy Sharks at York from Trainland.  They run beautiful and they are for one of my sons.  He got it hooked up immediately on the LionChief app with the Bluetooth connection and away they went.  Beautiful locomotives.  Problem I am having is user-error related:  How do I fill the smoke units without making a mess?  There is that little square hatch you remove, the fluid goes in but when you give the little puff of air to remove bubbles, there is fluid all over the top of the units.  I typically use a smoke fluid bottle with the pin needle and even then I make a mess.  The smoke units work fine but I feel a little foolish making such a mess as an experienced operator.  The kids like to run the diesels with the smoke off, but I enjoy it on once in a while.  Thanks in advance.

I load everything using the small funnels you get with some steam engines. Makes loading smoke fluid much cleaner and easier. It's not necessary to blow down into the stack on each refill, I only do it when I don't see smoke production.

I have the EJ&E sharks and absolutely love them, great pick up.
