Like the title says looking for someone in the South Jersey area to get together with and discuss layout ideas and design by phone or in person. I live in Eastampton NJ, about 15 min north of Cherry Hill very close to Mt Holly. I'm in the process of finishing walls and starting benchwork for new layout in space aprox 20'x20'. Im struggling with design ideas to start building benchwork. I kind of know what I want, but I dont have a clue about how actual track work functions and purpose of areas around yards, turntables and other elements. I have RailModeler Pro and will be using Ross track and switches. Thinking End of steam era to model.
I will be also posting for online help, but dont want to be the guy who needs help and is so vague or has so many questions its just hard for anyone to help.
I have no friends that are in the hobby so no one to bounce ideas off.
Do they have like Match.com or Tinder for train hookups? LOL.
