Starting TONIGHT......and for as long as it takes.....I'm going to start posting items for sale on my web site! Now, it won't be EVERY single item I carry, but selected items I want to MOVE out of inventory ASAP. To "find" these items, type in SALE in the search box.

*yawn*.....now 1AM, still not done, so stop back often over the next few days.
Note: I lost my "home" picture page, the one with the train going by the train depot. The site is still available, but you need to put in www.mapajunction.com to "hit" the main page.

**YAWN**..............1AM, I gotta get some rest,

"Sale" is probably one of the worst words in the English language. All inventory items in a retail store are usually "for sale". They can be "for sale" at list price, above list price, below list price, above cost, at cost, below cost, etc. You pay the money, you got the item. It was "for sale".

But I guess it could be interesting when a guy is soooo tired that he loses his cover page and has list price as his "sale" price. Or maybe not so interesting.

Marty,

What's going on?

About half the "SALE" items are at the MSRP price you have listed.

What kind of sale are you running?

To me "SALE" means deep discounts to move product and generate cash.

**groan**........I believe you are absoulutely correct. If I put some OLDER items items on "sale" months ago, and the DATE of sale has passed, the cart will revert back to the original price. I heve to make the corrections now to either take the "sale" OFF that item,or update the sale DATE.

I'll start working on it now.
Walter,

Your sale inticed me to make my first Williams steam purchase. It arrived today, which is pretty good as I ordered it exactly two weeks ago using your online system. (I am in Ontario Canada, so two weeks including customs is good I think)

The engine is great, CN fantasy scheme on an N & W J, looks real nice. Part of the reason I ordered it is that the engine style was reviewed in a recent OGR.

I never had the seuthe style smoke unit before, and as mentioned here in another thread, it does spit a bit, but it really is not that bad. I was wondering why no off switch? Will it hurt to run it dry? The instructions seem to imply that it won't, but are not clear on that point.

Other than that, it is a great runner, very smooth and quite. I also may change the bulb, as the headlight could be a bit brighter.

Your service was quick and the package survived the trip in good shape.

Thanks for your prompt service.
Update: More "sale" items listed. It's been tough lately. Several items I have only ONE left.

Here's one I JUST listed, a Texas Special A-B lash up! Normally, to GET an AB you would have to buy an A-B-A from a dealer. No Shipper carton (no big deal) but has original WILLIAMS boxes, and is in great condition. MMMmm......forgot to check roller pick ups/wheels for wear, but should be near mint. The person I got it from does not even have a layout!

Use search box: 20197-AB
