Ive got an MTH RK Amtrack Surfliner set. Overall been a great set but recently been having a few cars that have been derailing randomly. After close inspection I noticed on two of the cars that the diecast 4 wheel trucks were falling apart and missing a little retainer piece. Does anyone know if this can be fixed or if MTH has a replacement part? Posting pictures of what im talking about.

It may be less sophisticated than that. From the looks of the journal, it floats in the truck sideframe by a bracket running below it (the next-to-last photo), which is in-turn pinned into the upper half of the frame. If there are two holes in the upper frame adjoining where the journal sits, then there are two pins lying on your ROW somewhere. If the pins broke off in the upper sideframe, you may need to drill them out and fabricate new pins to retain the bracket.
