I just bought some new old stock of an SD70ACE premier circa 2017. The supplied screws won't fit into the receptable to mount the snowplough. I took another SD70ACE of the same tooling and the screw from that model also is too big to go in my new-to-me pilot receptacle holes.
I already contacted my dealer but anybody have a simple fix for this? I may have smaller screws in my possession, but they are going to have round heads that will scrape the rails when installed.

Requires (?? #6 or #4??,without removing the screws??) flat head screws, and a counter sink if the holes in the plow are not pre-drilled. The model I have had one plow, both trucks had mounting brackets.

yeah maybe they just forgot to predrill the holes
Possible they forgot to tap them out, or paint got in there when the pilots were painted.
If the holes are too small, measure the screws, drill the appropriately sized pilot hole and tap them out. Thats way easier than the hole being too big.
