i am am new to MTH Subways. I recently bought the Railking R17 set with Proto 3.
I have read about how to program my stops, and used Barry's tips with success.
Recently, I accidentally pushed the MLM soft key which put me back in Learn Mode, which deleted my programmed stops. Is that just the way it is, or is there something wrong with my set?

Unless that behavior was somehow enhanced with Proto 3, you have learned one of the most valuable subway lessons.
Don't accidentally activate Learn Mode if you like the stops you currently have programmed. 
If need be, keep a cheat sheet handy with the soft key abbreviations so you never accidentally do this again. (Can you tell I've done it a few times when trying to remember the acronyms on the soft keys? )

Thanks for affirming my findings, maybe I can move the soft key to another place where this is less likely to happen.
