I'm searching for a fairly detailed picture of a lift up hatch(?) so that I can gain access to the inside portion of my layout. I have seen them posted recently but can't find the thread. I'm tired of crawling under the track overpass to get to my controls/transformers. If anyone can supply a pic or 2 and some simple hints/instructions on how to construct a hatch(?) it would be greatly appreciated.
I placed question marks next to the word hatch because I'm not sure of its terminology. I'm trying to describe a hinged lift up that allows you to lift it up, pass through and lower so tracks are aligned.
