New GP7 Marker lights | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I just contacted Lionel about my new B&O GP7. The marker lights only come illuminate on whichever is the opposite end that is going forward. It doesn’t matter which I have as front, the headlight is on, no marker light. The rear light will be off and the marker lights are on. It might be me. I don’t know. I don’t I got the programming Correct using my 990. I have tried programming two engines and neither will reverse. Anyhoo, I was told after a RA is issued its 4 to 6 weeks turn around on anything.

Gee that was the practice of marker lights like the PRR and Conrail did.

It's not defective, that's the way Lionel designed them to work.

Thanks fellas. I was not aware of that. Actually I pretty much have no knowledge of prototypical operations of real rail roads.
