Here's the town of Valle Grande. I spent almost the entire month of December getting this together for Lou Sassi and the MR visit. These are my photos, not Lou's. I am sure his are infinitely better.
I guess that's all for now.

Jim, very attractive and well done. Sure wish you would be retiring in Springfield after the heat wave is over.

Al,
Things seem to be working against me to get to Missouri. I still have that huge 3-car garage space in NH that I am already designing the next J&RG for. The heat must be miserable when people come from MO to FL to cool down!

Our forcast is 100+ for the next 7 days. This is very similar to the drouth in Kansas in 1954. It was to hot to run my Marx trains on the floor.
Al
Jim, are you going to get hit by Issack?
Al
Al,
Just some wind and rain. Isaac is tracking towards New Orleans. So we, and the Republicans, were spared.

I love good news. Now if we can get some rain here, we will all be happy.

Jim,
Sorry for the slight delay in response [I don't lurk here as much as I used to]. The model A is an Athearn product. They aren't being produced anymore, as far as I know, but they pop up on eBay from time-to-time. Actually, they are 1/50 scale so they don't do well placed next to the more common 7mm (1/43) scale vehicles that populate most O layouts. You have to mix-and-match a lot with vehicles in O scale. I will be giving a clinic on that subject at the next NMRA national in Atlanta.
Jim
One word STUNNING!! Oooh I would love to be able to do a layout like that.
