Started expanding my 4x8 plywood setup to roughly 66” x 120”. It’s definitely a reach to the far side. I’m using FasTrack and using the 3’ sections on the back with minimal switches to minimize derails. I have a wide variety of trains.
My father’s post war steamer, a 70s GT with a new L&N shell, an some newer TMCC engines and Legacy engines.

I’ve add 048 curves on one end of the outer loop and plan to do that on the other next. I like that I can run multiple trains and not have to be always taking cars on and off. I have 3 and 4 yo grandsons who like switch around engines and trains.

Looking at other ideas it might be fun to add an elevated loop that I can run the older post war steamer on. The tender wants to jump track on the manual switches on the main line loop.

Excited to share and grow this now that I have a legit table and can leave it up.
Any input is welcome.
