Well my new layout is finally coming together.  Track work on the main portion 4 X 10 ft table is basically done.

I started wiring the voltage plugs on the switches yesterday.  5 done, 7 to go.

I have 1 power connection to the track and 3 commons.  Every piece of track will power a loco.

I have acquired so far - Milk car and platform, # 456 Coal ramp and hopper car. # 387 coal loader to work with the coal ramp. a sawmill and am bidding on a Log conveyor loader. I also got a rotary aircraft beacon, 2 Coal dump cars and a dumping log car.

I'm hoping to buy a light tower for the 2  siding areas. I have 3 Z-1000 MTH Transformers for power.

The coal ramp and coal loader will go on the 2 ft X 3 ft section on the far end right side of the main table.

Thanks to all of you.  I'm busy wiring all 12 switches to a fixed 14V outlet on one of my Z 1000 this afternoon.  Once I get this done, I can hookup the DCS and run the engines at the 18 to20 volts a Z 1000 puts out.

Then I'll be wiring up about 4 of the sidings with on off switches and wiring up a few of the switch controllers.  All the switches at the front of the table I'll turn manually.
