What subway sets are you talking about? The last one cataloged were the R17s several years ago. The Yankees/Mets set is not a subway set. It is a Metro-North/Long Island Railroad M7 railroad set.
The brand new ones . I think they may of not come out yet..

The new Lionel 6-12016 MLB Subway Series Set has started arriving at dealers. My LHS received theirs on Friday. The train really isn't a subway train, but is in fact the M-7 MU commuter cars that Lionel has been producing for the past several years. This is a conventional set with basic electronic horn sound.
