im typing on my phone so please excuse any errors. Has anyone built a nice scale New Orleans streetcar? Seems like an untapped opportunity.
I live here so I see them all day

Western Railcraft(?) made a reasonable replica of them. They are really a Johnstown, PA 35n series car(?) but were released in several color schemes, I believe that NOPSI was one of them. They were sold in three and two rail versions. Here is Johnstown 357 that I took a photo of at the Shoreline Trolley Museum back in 2007:
Not too different from NOPSI 850 (same place but in 2010):

I have 2 of the New Orleans scheme. Planning on changing one to Charlotte as it’s close enough.
Western Hobbycraft was the company who made the St Louis cars in New Orleans colors.
you can pick up a bowser o scale in new orleans scheme on ebay from time to time. i added a tmcc board to mine to give digital control I am thinking about selling.
There was a brass one made in both HO and O scale. The O scale models were all over that auction site for a while and I still wish I’d bought one.
