I recently got a Santa Fe bicentennial SD45, 30-21122-1 That was just released. On Wednesday, a friend of mine messaged me stating that he bought a SD45 that was offered at the same time. He mentioned to me that the extended start up sequence cuts out to go straight to the engine start up.
I tried it today at the club with mine, and it does the same thing. Is this a sound file issue or a flash file issue?

I don't normally use that feature, so I just tried it and it does the same thing.
That is likely a sound file issue, but it could be the chain files as well. I'd start by by reloading the chain and sounds files from the MTH product page. If that doesn't do it, find a slightly earlier SD45 and load those and see if that makes a difference. This is obviously a software issue, hard to imagine all the boards are bad. 
It would be Sound file not flash code. I would email MTH info email and ask. Could have been a mistake and they can update the sf. Or you can load a different PS-3 Sound file from a Premier version keeping the same flash code and see if that fixes it. G
