I have ordered the book also. I do not figure I will ever own any of these types of trains, but I will love have the pictures and info at my finger tips.

I know not everyone can do it, but I'm a big believer in gathering these types of books even if you don't have any of the trains. I did the same with Lee Willis' book. Authors go through a huge amount of work collecting, studying, photographing etc and then put out a publication that really only affects a very small market. They need to be supported or future books will never get done. I know I will get my moneys worth just drooling over the photo's.

Thanks for the support and for ordering the book, guys. Steve, you have it exactly right about what authors do. We certainly appreciate being supported by our fellow hobbyists. As for MTH making Voltamp or Boucher reproductions, that would be wonderful. I have heard that the problem is needing an original to take apart to make the tooling. But actually I have a Boucher 2500 basket case that could serve as a prototype. How many would be sold?
