One of the most interesting and innovative scenic displays I've seen was the one made my next-door module neighbor at the Boy Scout Train Show, Dale City, VA. He had an operating Yellowstone Park Geyser Basin. There were had geysers and paint pots, which "erupted" about every 15 minutes. We told him: "next year, do Mt. St. Helens."

About as close I ever got to that was I once accidently kneeled down on a white glue bottle!   Very nice effect.  Fog machines are interesting items to work with but that is a most creative use!  I have seen them used to also simulate water movement on large layouts with streams or rivers.  Very cool.  Russ
