It's a long shot, but I am doing some research ont he Ashtabula Bridge Disaster of 1876. Does anyone know where I could find the railroad layout of this section of the LS&MS? I need to do a map showing the bridge, the line, and the railroad depot that was a few hundred tards from the disaster.

Try www.railsandtrails.com , it is a treasure trove of prototype information concerning railroads (and specifically track diagrams) in northeastern Ohio from the late 1800s thru the 1970s or so.

I hate chiming in not know 100% of what I am about to say........ The was a book published years ago called 101 track plans for modelrailroaders by Lynn Wescott, I THINK. Plan number 95 or so was a layout for the Ohio Central System including a large passenger terminal for Cincinati. I have the book but can't find it........

FYI, I just got a fresh copy of that book delivered TODAY from Amazon. Plan 95 is the
Hungry Horse Timber Co., but plan 100 is the Ohio Central System and includes a large passenger terminal.

I havent seen my copy of the book in years I know I have it just dont know where. I knew it was one of the last plans. there are some neat plans in that book if i recall.
