I would suggest consideration be given by a first timer to purchase a packing table. Standard sizes are 96 x 36 inches, with heavy steel adjustable legs. They can be ordered in any size but 96 x 36 can handle a 5 x 9 board easily. They are easily assembled and can stand a 275 pound man standing on them. If you move they can be taken appart. They jsually come with a shelf beneath the table, can be assembled in a hour with hand tools and also come in a 48 inch width. They are a tad expensive but very labor saving and idiot-proof in terms of assembly.
