Went to the Pgh TCA show today, the crowd was a little light but seemed to be picking up when I left with my loot. I must have been a good boy (???) this years because Sandy Claws was there. Picked up to PW  steam engines at decent prices and both run great but the prize was last. A nice GG1 was tops on my "want" list and I got a beauty at a ridiculous price. Looked at a lot but they rn from $300 on up.  I wanted a Lionel and spotted a nice tuscan one, a 2340, on a table. Looked really clean and in good shape-only $150. Runs smooth as silk. I was running an A-B-A lash up on one track and the GG1 on another Hated to shut them down. Doesn't get any better than that.  So what goes to the top of the list ?/ How about a 773??

I was at the show in Cranberry too.  A friend from church went with me.  He had some Lionel when he was a kid, and now wants to buy a starter set for his 10-year old son.  While he didn't plan to make a purchase today, we were disappointed there weren't any MTH sets for sale, although his son may like a Polar Express instead.  He did learn a lot today, however.  I did meet a friend of his who lives nearby.  I may make a visit some day.  Also I spoke with Thom (Doc) a while.

I picked up 3 freight cars at nice prices, one was from a generous Forum member. Thanks!!

I can't post photos because Mrs. Clause has them whisked away to the secret Santa's workshop where they will be wrapped for me to be surprised Christmas morning when I open them.  ;-)

Yes, the Kittanning show was advertised in the Butler paper at least twice this week.  I already knew about it, and was there once about 10 years ago.
