I have a set of baby blue comet cars that I bought at a train show several years ago, pretty sure they were new in the box from mth. After going around my layout a few times with Ross switches, the fiber plate /rivet has pulled away from the truck. This has happened to several of the cars. I am not sure if this was a switch issue or a manufacturing issue where the rivet didn’t have enough pressure to compress the back side more. Anyone else run into this?
Was think of replacing these rivets with screws as I don’t have a small rivet machine.
