plywood and homesite in a garage setting layout

I am considering a garage layout with 3 5x8 sections bolted together. The top will be 1/2 inch ext grade plywood topped with 5/8 homesite, if I can get it. Will moisture be a problem- will not be rained on?

Yes, definitely in an garage environment. You must seal all sides and edges with latex paint. Check Home Depot or Lowes for any mixing errors. It would be wise to seal all your framing lumber too.
