Pridelines Voltamp Interurban on Ebay

That is so cool!  If only MTH could get that tooling.

The Pridelines site is still on the internet, although not active. One previous post stated that since John's passing, the family is out of the train business. Anyway, here is the link to the Pridelines web page on the interurban.

The original price was $795, and the ad states "Limited to 75".

I think you're correct on the price. It's gonna go up. I think it's one of the best items Pridelines did, and unfortunately, I did not recognize this when they were available new.

As the price of this item rises, for me, the doors of possibility open on more and more original items. And, as nice as this is, it is still a modern reproduction (being new, it should be nice), even though limited to 75 pieces.

I guess if that style of piece is something you are really after, we know that even at $1500, it is still a far cry cheaper than an original!

If this tooling ever did make its way to MTH, I'd then consider getting one. Great looking piece.

I like it!  Amazing how realistic it is, being a tinplate piece.

A little off topic, but does involve Pridelines. I obtained both the Pridelines Green Diamond and Pridelines City of Portland streamliners about seven years ago. I can't find the instructions that came with the sets. Anybody know where I can find them?

Are you sure you received instructions with the sets? I bought one of their Hiawatha sets direct from them and there was no instruction leaflet with the set.

You know, I thought for sure I did, but maybe I'm mistaken. I do recall calling Pridelines maybe in 2006 or 2007 and asking them about a lubrication issue because I couldn't locate any instructions with the set.

You may be correct. Maybe they never included instructions with their sets.
