Hello All,

I have a question and figured this was the best place to ask. I was reading through recent topics this morning and noticed someone came in with a question on a post that had sat idle for 1 1/2 years.

Someone responded and said not to "Bump" or the post will get deleted. I did not know what that meant so I searched and found that it means when you comment to get a post back to the top of the list.

I thought we should be searching for older posts before creating a new one for a question related to the original topic? I have done that numerous times trying not to clog the forum up with new topics and have had great success without someone telling me not too. Am I wrong about doing that?

I am not looking to get beat up here nor am I calling anyone out. I just want to know what the right path is here on the forum.

Thank you for any information you can give,

Brad
