Ross 042 switches

I am pretty sure they have ready made fitter pieces for all of their switches. I took a look, but their website is not the easiest to navigate or find info on and I couldn't find what I was looking for. They really need to add links to all pertinent info on their switch pages in their catalog.

I would give Ross a call, they are very helpful and the owner sometimes answers the phone!

I believe it's because they make 2 extensions, one for making the full curve and one for making a parallel siding. Both extensions are in the RR-Track Ross track library and I believe both are included with the switch so you don't see them listed separately on their website. Here's the difference. Top Left is a siding with the makeup extension and O42 curve. Top Right is with the parallel extension. Bottom is with makeup extension reversed and is about the same as using an O42 full curve piece.
NOTE: I don't see these pieces in the SCARM library and have contacted Mixy.

If Ross doesn't make a small section of curve you can buy an 042 curve from Ross and cut it to fit. 

FYI; I have found that Gargraves and Ross curve sections are slightly different in radius, Gargraves curve is closer to 043 while Ross curve is close to 042.

I sent him what information I could glean from RR-Track about the missing pieces and he said they'll be in the next update to SCARM. In the meantime, if you need them, you can use the "Snip Off" option in SCARM to cut a full O42 curve or copy the "orange" pieces from the attached file. As you can see, I added the switch and full curves to show the Makeup piece completes the circle and the Parallel piece makes a parallel siding. FWIW, if you want to cut your own, the Properties dialog in RR-Track shows the length of the pieces are:
Full Curve - 16.49" (same as SCARM)
Makeup piece - 4.62" (I got this one exact)
Parallel piece - 11.38" (I got close at 11.39")
