I downloaded/installed the program today. Now playing with it.

  • Is it possible to use feet instead of inches. Otherwise, I will do the math.
  • Do I create in the given field without room dimensions, or do I create the room dimensions in the field before creating a fastrack plan?
  • Will the tutorial help me with the fastrack symbols? Example: there is more than one labeled 10" straight track in the left margin. I can't determine what the label means for each 10" straight. Hope I explain that correctly.

luvtrains,

1. Sorry, but inches and millimeters are the only available measurements.

2. You can do either.  If you choose, set up your room dimensions using the baseboard feature and then plan your layout within that.

3. When you place your mouse pointer over each different piece of 10" fastrack, you will see the variations provided.  One is a plain piece, others are for accessory activation or terminal pieces where wiring is attached.  However, I believe each still basically represents a linear 10" of fastrack.
