Hi guys,
I hope there are a number of you here on the forum who will be attending the convention. There are a number of excellent layouts that will be open for self guided tours. My crew and I will have the NorthWest Trunk Lines open from 1pm to 5pm on 9/12, 9/13, and 9/14 (Wed, Thurs, Fri.). We're the closest layout to the convention center (2 mi, about 10 minute drive), so we're hoping to see good crowds.
Most of the layout is 3-rail O-Scale, but we have two sections of On30 representing a coal mine and Owenyo, CA, and one section of On3. Both the On3 and Owenyo On30 sections feature dual gauge track work that is rather unique. The off center "third rail" for the narrow gauge doubles as the "center rail" for the 3-Rail pickup rollers.
