Here's a little "Marxenstein" project I've been working on over the long weekend.

A nice CV shell I picked up a couple weeks ago at a flea market, a smooth running single reduction motor I had on hand, an extra 666 smoker, a 6" frame and an old plastic tender shell, shaken, not stirred. I sanded off all the rivet detail on the sides of the tender so it would blend in better with the smooth slab sides of the loco shell.

Nice work, Andy!  Would you mind post a pic of the motor?  I have done a couple of these smoking CVs, but I have never tried one with a single reduction motor.  Great idea!

Yukon Jack, Here's a picture of the underside during construction. The smoker just replaces the regular front motor mount of the SR motor. Biggest chore was swapping out the connecting rods.

The new mounting points for the body shell were made from some old Erector Set parts!  LOL

Thanks, Andy!   Nice clean installation.
