The layout itself has made no progress, but the area around it slowly evolves. I
built a faux wall between the layout and the display cases to allow for more O
RailRax. However I wanted one row for standard gauge so I went about adding one
shelf of white MDF. A light went on in my dim mind, and I decided to use that
shelf to also display my Marx 1305 bridges. Now I gotta dig out the rest of the
bridges and the Classic Trains boxcars.

Oh, man, the CMT set with the toymakers' boxcars.  That is pretty much the ultimate in cool.  I'm looking for the Dorfan car in that set, if you or anybody has an extra one.  CMT and McCoy, I really love the design of these trains.

Very nice display.  That is so better than sitting in a box.   More shelves!

I do have the rest of the toymaker boxcars in storage. I will get them dug out soon now that they have a home. When searching for these, I found that saving a e-bay search by the car number worked best. There are no manufaturer markings on them so they get dumped into the "other" category. Arno Baars helped me find two of mine.

I became interested in these due to having the complete O gauge collection.
