This catalog is like any other catalog. I build hot rods, and one of my go-to suppliers sends out quarterly catalogs. I like to look through them to see what the latest products are, but ultimately, I order what I want without too much regard for price and shipping cost. If I want or need it, I'll buy it.

Because Lionel (like every other business) must appeal to a broad spectrum of potential customers, most customers will say that a lot of what they see in the latest catalog is irrelavant. I cannot imagine paying some of the prices for the latest locomotives. They're much more than I would or could pay for my modest layout, but they must sell, otherwise they wouldn't be offered.

I agree with Grampstrains about reviewing it for yourself. A lot of these reviews are done for clicks on social media platforms. I've watched a few of these reviews, and found I didn't agree with much of the content. However, I do enjoy perusing catalogs in general. It's cheap entertainment, and keeps you up-to-date on the newest products. Everyone will have their own opinions.
