Steve,
You always seem to get lucky.
Always nice when you share your finds.

Nice find!

Very nice....and to think I did really well on 3 lots of tinplate cars, a lot of cabeese, and 4 flagmen for $10 at TCA the day before.

Some great buys at the TCA auction Satuday. Bought 3 modern Marx cars and doubled my money when I sold them Sunday at TTOS.

Say what!? Good for you. Great for the train fund. Hoping to find something this weekend at Norcall Cal-Stewart
Wow, I learn something new about our hobby every day on these forums. I've never seen one of those. Then again, I haven't paid too much attention to Marx trains.
So the side smoker was meant to expel smoke from the cylinders I presume ? Just answered my own question after a closer look at your video. Do you think Marx was ahead of their time ?

Yes, supposed to look like steamchest smoke.

Papa's got the eagle eye. Wish I could attend more shows. Maybe when/if I retire. By then a Marx coffin tender will probably be $40.00 or so....
Marx made neat stuff, and a variety of it, but the internet has let the secret out.
