The Forum gives you a chance to see the occasional video showing locomotives puffing smoke without you experiencing any adverse effects.

While not as impressive as a big ol' steam engine, I thought this was pretty cool.  I caught it yesterday.  It's CN 9605, a GP 38-2, climbing the grade out of Manitowoc.  She was smokin' pretty good!

Sorry to hear of your affliction. You should always do what the doctor says, but does he/she realize that our "smoke" is not really smoke, but is actually mineral oil vapor?

I have enjoyed a few robust smokes in the past.  Cubans,  I have COPD from smoking them.
