Here is a project that I have been working on for a few years now. I first bought a completely wrecked 339 at York and slowly made a M.U. car out of it. Then came the many experiments of making an over head wire system that was functional, easy to build, not too expensive, and still be toy like. So here is my experiment working as I intended it to. Then a second 339 car was added to make it a MU train. Next is to expand my simple circle to an oval then even larger and more complex, ( switches and crosses ). I also have an American Flyer 4644 that I've converted to a 4-4-4 that will run with a working pantagraph as well. Once I figure out how to use my computer better I will post videos on this site. Until then you can see my videos on youtube. You will have to type in Standard Gauge toy train catenary, ( GOOGLE) and then you should see my two videos, I hope. Please let me know what your thoughts are. I do have other home made projects for standard gauge that I will share with you latter.
