As I learn more about Superstreets I realize what a neat idea who's time is long past due in 3-rail. The work of Lee Willis incorporating Superstreets into his layout is outstanding.

Instead of static transverse vehicle traffic crossings we can have moving vehicles cross over RR tracks. Does anyone how the crossover section, which I think was for K-Line track and maybe for Fasttrack, works? Can it be made to work with Gargraves/Ross track? Is it for conventional or TMCC? I suspect it can only be made to work in TMCC with command street vehicles, which are far and few available, unless the crossover section is electrically isolated for both the train tracks and cross Superstreets section. Will Bachmann make TMCC vehicles (do they have a TMCC license yet?).

For a while I had one.  The basic piece was just a dumb crossover.  The two arms to prvent traffic flow would come down when a block track section in either side saw a loco or rolling stock connect the two other rails.  mine, at least, had no provisions to half the SS vehicles when that happened (other than the fact they would run into the down barrier and stop moving).   I would have had to install a reply hooked to those sections to kill voltage to the SS road section leading up to the rail junction.  I could of done that, but decided just to re-route things so roads never cross track.  Keeps it simple and keeps traffic from bunching up.  It would be neat to make it work, though.
