Try either a pile of cinders or a tie wedged under one rail and on top of the other rail. Both solutions are prototypical, especially for short, out of the way, sidings.

HI Hal
Gargraves makes one that may work for you, I use them, Basic and strong.

All the above are good suggestions. Pretty much anything goes for and end of track bumper, railroad ties, a simple mound of dirt, sections of Jersey Barrier, the list goes on.
Try these. A little heavy but they just snap in place between the rails.
They say three rail but work OK on two rail too.

Just build a few of these.
With the terrain style of the layout, a simple earthen bumper -- i.e., a pile of dirt -- would probably be the best as Mark mentioned above. Just layer it on over the track and saturate it with a 2-parts white glue/1-part water solution as you go. It should be about 3/4" to 1" high from the ground and will work fine.
Nick's build above is a great idea, too and looks like something that would have been built on-site. The stuff I've seen in more isolated areas is usually made from ties or a mound of earth (or theoretically a pile of rocks) .
You could always make a bent rail bumper like this one from LGB.
I would also suggest the pile o' dirt...and would look natural to the area.
Gentlemen..
All of the aforementioned choices, some of which are quite clever, will be given due consideration.
Thank You,

There's also a couple different companies that make "wheel stops", and you can usually find them on Ebay.
Tomar makes a nice set of wheel stops.
I have purchased, and prefer, the brass "bumping post" from Des Plaines Hobby Shop.
Naaaaah...I'll just wait until Atlas O has new stock and buy a couple of their scale bumpers.
Yeah, that's what I'll do.
In the meantime, I'll just drive a nail between the rails at the ends of my spurs!

I don't think they are SCALE, but to each his own.
Here are some scale track bumpers that are right near my house. Southern Pacific had a spur that looped around a warehouse district where they had customers. The track has long been torn out but the bumpers are still there. Generally these are the type of bumpers the SP used.
Here is the Scaletrax bumper that I use.

If you don't use the dirt pile suggestion, contact Harbor Belt Lines they have some real nice scale kits for Hayes style bumpers. They were at the March Meet.
Don't think they show on his website yet, but give them a try
Could you use the AtlasO track bumpers?
Could you use the AtlasO track bumpers?
They really aren't SCALE either.
Maybe, as long as they're not for 3-Rail!
