I am building a large DCS-controlled layout, and will be using multiple TIU's and power districts, with 2 loops, A and B. Each TIU is powered by a separate Z4000.I will be using the Variable Channel (VC) TIU outputs. If I wire everything so that I power layout loop A from TIU"s 1 and 2, and use VC 1 from TIU 1, and VC 3 from TIU2, will the TRACK CONTROL SCREEN on the DCS remote let me select BOTH Tracks 1 and 3, or does selecting a second track automatically deselect the first track? I know there is an ALL TRACK SELECT option, but when running conventional engines, I don't want to energize the entire layout. THANKS!

Doc,

When you select a TIU Track (Variable Channel) and set the voltage, that voltage remains until you change it, even if you subsequently select a different TIU Track.

Further, the only way that you can mange multiple TIU Tracks at the same time is to select the All TIU Tracks function.

This and a whole lot more is all in "The DCS O Gauge Companion 2nd Edition", now available for purchase as an eBook or a printed book from MTH's web store site! Click on the link below to go to MTH's web page for the book!
