I bought a transition track to accept O fastrack to O27 tubular. I was wrong. It only transitions to regular O. Does anyone know of a way to make some adjustments to the pins so they will fit? Is this possible? I could file the fastrack pins to fit, but will it still run? thanks for any help.

I am not sure that you need the pins If you have power to both sides of the gap like a oval the power is on both sides of the gap. Just make sure that the tracks are aligned. If I am wrong maybe someone else will chime in .
Good idea, but how would I join them? Solder?
You don't have to join them. Power will be on both sides of the gap.

If there is no power put two jumpers from bottom of o27 to tabs on fastback pos and ground
thank you. I will think about this.
You can do this by starting with three "O" pins, and grind one end(to the half way point) of each 3/4 of the way around to match the diameter of the O-27 track pins/openings.
If you instead grind them to the center, there will be a significant "bump" at the transition.
For an example of this "offset" method, look closely at the GarGraves "O" & O-27 adapter pins:

thanks to you all for your many suggestions. I have a lot of 027 and was just trying to use it in my layout, but, I have decided to go all Fastrack and settle it once and for all. I do appreciate your help and have learned a lot from the discussion.
