When I try to duplicate the pictured layout with o31 Fastrack, it does not work. Can anyone tell me why?

Absolutely.
The pictured layout is built with traditional O-31 track with 14.14" radius curves.
O-31 FasTrack is, paradoxically, made with 15.5" curves.
ADCX Rob, thank you for your response. So in other words an o31 tublar track circle will not match an o31 Fastrack circle in size? Is either one a true o31 or am I misunderstanding something?

Correct, they do not match.
So, it depends on what you mean by "true" O31... the 1915-on tubular type is 31" overall diameter made with 28.28" center rail diameter, 14.14" center rail radius curves. FasTrack is 35" overall diameter with actual 31" diameter center rail diameter, 15.5" center rail radius curves. Which one is "true" would be up to you.
Here is another version in FasTrack using SCARM.
Just tried to duplicate in Anyrail. The return loops do not close or lineup.
Well then, attach the AnyRail file and let us see if we can figure out what’s wrong.
Sorry, i'm trying to figure out how to post file correctly.
Dennis, you need to find out where your file is saved. Open your design. Select FILE on the top menu, then the Save As option.
This will open a dialog wIndo-European where you will see the name of the folder where the file is saved. In this example it’s Downloads.
Now go to your post on the OGR forum and select the Add Attachments option. Locate the folder that was displayed in the Save As dialog window, then locate the .any file for your design. Select it just as you would the photos you attached. The only difference is you don’t need to check the box to insert all images, the file will be attached so anyone with AnyRail can download it.

Thanks, Dave for all your help.

Thanks, Dennis. I think the problem is Rob’s version doesn’t really connect in SCARM either. If you look at the photo, you can see where I circled double lines. That means they’re close, probably close enough to connect when assembled, and close enough to join in the software with the joint tolerance set to something other than the .079” default. I redid my version in the attached .any file. I just did the right loop, figured you could do the other one. Take a look.

Dave, again thanks for all your help and tutorial. I just have to hope Lionel releases the 3 inch straight Fastrack that you used to rebuild the return loop.
Thanks,
Dennis32
BTW, since you use FasTrack, here's a little cheat sheet.

You don't have to wait - you can make your own custom length Fastrack pieces.
